Born 5th February 1963 I went to school at Palmer School, Wokingham and Forest School, Winnersh, Berkshire. Before leaving I had a rather successful amateur swimming career, see the newspaper clip below.
Following in my father's footsteps I went on to study mechanical engineering at Reading and Henley.
Since the late '80s I've been working in software development and have specialised in the design and build of system applications for the General Insurance industry. My work has taken me to many countries in Europe and also Japan.
My former workplaces include PMS Creative, AGF Irish Life, Independent Insurance and Zurich Insurance (Japan). I'm now working for Legal & General Insurance in Surrey.
As for life outside of work I still have an interest in engineering and technology and enjoy working on our house.
